Tortasperu is a National wide housewives net that have began to generate a second income for their homes , carrying out confectionery works and they make use of Internet as a commercialization tool.

Tortas Perú initiated their activity in 1996 as initiative of Mrs. María del Carmen Vucetich de San Román, who was pioneer of the e-commerce in Perú, then she placed a WEB to sell cakes that were paid in USA and they were delivered in Peru.

With the up coming of the new Information and Comunications Technologies and the quick growth of the public internet booths we have undertaken a new challenge and it is the one of demonstrating that many women and hosewives in Peru can carry out a lucrative work in their houses at the same time taking care of their children and families and not only this, also carrying out an activity that brings foreign currencies to Peru.

With the valuable support of the Peruvian Scientific Net we begin a new phase of the project in May 2000 and in March of the 2001 we present this new version of our WEB page with the objective of grow constantly and to continue maintaining a good level for the satisfaction of our clients and friends.
